Occasion On Main, located in the heart of the downtown Gastonia district, is a wholly remodeled venue that blends rustic and modern touches to create a perfect and charming space for your event. With exposed brick to maintain the original character of the building, hardwood floors, metal barn doors, and stunning modern lighting, we offer a beautiful backdrop for your celebration!
Our innovative multi-level venue is ideal for couples seeking separate indoor wedding ceremony space (available as early as June 1st), cocktail lounge (available as early as June 1st), bridal dressing room (available as early as June 1st), and downstairs large reception hall capable of hosting events up to 300 guests in size, 215 seated. Each of these spaces is uniquely obscure, providing an intimate setting with an element of surprise. Our cocktail area is an ideal intimate setting for smaller gatherings like birthdays, baby showers, bridal showers, etc. We look forward to hosting kids' birthday parties (under 12) with an area dedicated to kids (summer 2024). Our primary goal is to facilitate a beautiful venue for your occasions and create an incredible memory for you and your guests.

Cocktail Room
We are delighted to announce the opening of our cocktail lounge. This elegant room with exposed brick walls, open wooden ceiling rafters, and hardwood floors is a one-of-a-kind offering in the area for smaller parties below 75 people. (please note that NO live music is allowed in this space on Saturday evenings)

Kids Corner
We are excited to announce that our Kid's Corner is available as early as June 1st with an indoor bounce House. We will have packages for up to 25 kids (ages 1-10); with up to 50 total guests (parents or guardians)
