Occasion On Main, located in the heart of downtown Gastonia, NC, is a wholly remodeled wedding venue and event space that blends rustic and modern touches to create a perfect and charming venue for your Special Occasion. With the original character of the 1900 building with exposed brick, rustic ceilings, metal barn doors, new hardwood floors, and stunning modern lighting, we offer a beautiful backdrop for your Occasion!
Our innovative multi-level venue is ideal for couples seeking separate indoor wedding ceremony space, cocktail lounge, bridal dressing room, and downstairs large reception hall capable of hosting events with up to 300 guests (215 seated). Each of these spaces is uniquely obscure from the other, providing an intimate setting with an element of surprise. Our cocktail or lounge area is an ideal intimate setting for smaller gatherings like birthdays, baby showers, bridal showers, and small family gatherings.
We look forward to hosting kids' birthday parties (under 12) with an area dedicated to kids. Our primary goal is to facilitate a beautiful venue for your occasions and create an incredible memory for you and your guests.
Lounge Room
We are delighted to announce the opening of our upstairs lounge room with a private entrance away from the main reception hall. This elegant room with exposed brick walls, open wooden ceiling rafters, and hardwood floors is a one-of-a-kind offering in the area for smaller parties below 65 people. (please note that NO live music is allowed in this space on Saturday evenings)

Kids Corner
We are excited to announce that our Kid's Corner will have an indoor bounce house. We have packages for up to 12 kids (ages 3-10) and up to 35 total guests (parents or guardians). Our 2-hour private party time slots are available for quick birthday celebrations with their friends - a private party includes 1 hour of bounce house time plus 1 hour for food and celebrations. Tables and chairs are only available for kids.
If you wish to have a more elaborate celebration with family and friends with extended hours, our lounge room is available for an additional fee.
